Terms & Conditions
These terms explain who we are, how our insurance services work, and your rights when using this website or requesting a quote. Last updated: October 2026.
1. About us and our regulatory status
This website is operated by Colin Campbell (“we”, “us”, “Colin Campbell Insurance”), an insurance intermediary based in Malta.
Colin Campbell is authorised under the Insurance Distribution Act (Cap. 487) to act as an enrolled Tied Insurance Intermediary for Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited. Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited No. OC 1216 is registered in Malta and licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) to act as a third country branch of Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited, registered in Gibraltar No. 01862.
The MFSA is the single regulator for financial services in Malta. Information about the MFSA and the financial services register can be found at www.mfsa.mt.
2. Our services
As a Tied Insurance Intermediary we distribute general insurance products of Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited only. These include home, motor, Y-Plates, business, contractors and landlord insurance, as described on this website.
We may provide advice on the products of Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited, arrange cover, assist with changes to existing policies, and provide support during the claims process. We do not offer advice on insurance products from any other insurer.
Information on this website is general in nature and does not, by itself, constitute a personal recommendation or an offer to insure. Suitability is assessed when you request a quote and we discuss your circumstances with you.
3. Quotations
Any quotation provided through this website or by any other means is an indicative quotation only. It is subject to acceptance by Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited, to the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, and to any terms, conditions and exclusions the insurer may apply.
A quotation does not constitute insurance cover. No cover is in force until the insurer confirms acceptance and the premium has been settled in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
Quotes are typically valid for the period stated on the quotation or, where none is stated, for 30 days from issue. We may revise or withdraw a quotation at any time before acceptance.
4. Your duty to provide accurate information
When requesting a quote, taking out or renewing a policy, you must answer all questions asked of you honestly, accurately and completely. The insurer relies on your answers to assess the risk and set the premium and terms.
If any information you give is incomplete, inaccurate or misleading, the insurer may take action which could include amending the terms, refusing a claim, cancelling the policy, or treating the policy as if it never existed.
5. Premiums, fees and payment
Premiums are payable in accordance with the terms of your policy and the payment arrangements agreed with you. Where applicable, statutory charges such as stamp duty and any fees are shown separately and form part of the amount payable.
Premiums and related charges received in connection with a policy are applied to your policy with the insurer. Failure to pay a premium when due may result in the insurer cancelling your policy or refusing a claim.
6. Cancellation and cooling-off rights
Your right to cancel an insurance policy, including any applicable statutory cooling-off period, depends on the type of insurance, the circumstances in which the contract was concluded, applicable law and the terms and conditions of the relevant policy.
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, you will be informed of the applicable period, procedure and any permitted charges.
Cancellation requests outside any applicable statutory withdrawal period will be handled in accordance with the relevant policy terms and applicable law.
7. Claims
If you need to make a claim, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and we will assist you in notifying the insurer. Claims are assessed and settled by Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited in accordance with the terms of your policy.
You should provide all information and documentation the insurer reasonably requires. Deliberately false or inflated claims may result in the claim being refused and, in serious cases, in prosecution for fraud.
8. Complaints
We are committed to providing a professional service and treating customers fairly.
If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us:

You may also contact the Malta Financial Services Authority regarding regulatory concerns. The MFSA does not adjudicate individual complaints or award compensation.
9. Data protection
Personal data you provide — for example your name, surname, mobile number and email address when requesting a quote — is processed only for the purpose of preparing your quote, arranging and administering your insurance, and meeting legal obligations. It is handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Maltese Data Protection Act.
Your details are shared only with the insurer where necessary to arrange your cover, and are not sold or used for unrelated marketing. You have the right to access, correct, and in certain circumstances erase your personal data, and you may contact us at any time at colin@campbellcover.com to exercise these rights or withdraw consent.

11. Governing law
These terms and any services provided through this website are governed by the laws of Malta. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you request a quote or service applies to that request.
